Gatunos Game

Game Design • 2024

In this game, you play a cat thief of luxury items who seeks to negotiate with his fellow thieves to complete his set, but it won't be an easy task.

Bluff, negotiate, undermine your opponents, and strive to become the most recognized thief in the criminal world.

To help with your sense of play, we've created the 5 greatest art thieves of all time!

Choose your favorite and begin your journey to the greatest wanted poster of all time!

The player announces one of their artwork cards to the table.

Another player can say they want the card. The announcer chooses
who they want to trade with or can force a trade.

Note:You can lie about the card you're announcing!

By assembling a set of 4 artworks, you become the wanted thief with the best collection!

There are 2 ways to form a set:
Color: 4 cards of the same color
Work type: 4 cards with the same artwork seal

Meow Lisa is a fake!

In other words, if you have it in your collection, you can't be the winning thief!

When you receive this card, you can't pass it for 1 round.

The aesthetics of the Gatunos Game were inspired by games like Clue and crime and mafia themes.

Furthermore, the aesthetics of old newspapers and museums were used to create the setting.

This was done to create a playful universe that helped immerse the player.

This work was a college project that involved physically delivering the games to students to play on the day of the presentation.

Therefore, numerous prototypes and printing tests were performed to achieve the ideal, most functional result.
